Great neighborhoods are the cornerstone of a livable city. Boise is fortunate to have a thriving network of active neighborhoods in all parts of the city.
To celebrate and support Boise’s neighborhoods, the City is proud to host a series of programs to strengthen the ties between Boise residents, to establish new connections within our community, and to honor residents who exemplify how good neighbors improve and enhance our community.
The program runs from early August through the end of September and includes a variety of different events throughout the city.
The program concludes with the presentation of awards to good neighbors who have gone out of their way to help those around them. If you know someone who deserves to be recognized as a Good Neighbor, nominate him or her for a Good Neighbor Award. Recipients will be honored by Boise City Council President Maryanne Jordan at the Good Neighbor reception on September 24 at the Boise Depot.
