Welcome Good Neighbor!

Great neighborhoods are the cornerstone of a livable city. Boise is fortunate to have a thriving network of active neighborhoods in all parts of the city.

To celebrate and support Boise’s neighborhoods, the City is proud to host a series of programs to strengthen the ties between Boise residents, to establish new connections within our community and to honor residents who set an example of how good neighbors can improve and enhance our community.

The program runs from early August through the end of September and includes a variety of different events throughout the city.

The program concludes with the presentation of awards to good neighbors who have gone out of their way to help those around them. If you know someone who deserves to be recognized as a Good Neighbor, nominate him or her for a Good Neighbor Award. Winners will be honored by Mayor David Bieter at the Good Neighbor event on September 27 at the Boise Depot.
